Hi, I'm Emma Carter.

I'm the founder of Carter Global Solutions, LLC. I hold a master's degree in Interpreting and Translation Studies from Wake Forest University and a membership with the American Translators Association.

Creating equitable access to information, resources, and services is a passion of mine, which is why I founded Carter Global Solutions. Navigating the immigration system in the United States can be daunting in any language. CGS aims to give you peace of mind when submitting translated documents to court or U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and to help ease the stress of your USCIS interview. I am especially passionate when assisting those submitting U-Visas, T-Visas, Asylum, and Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) applications, as my graduate studies focused on trauma-informed language services. A trauma-informed approach recognizes that trauma is discussed differently across languages and cultures and ensures a high level of care and cultural competency is employed.
